In our shelter, we host our brothers and sisters coming from provinces who do not have financial resources or relatives in Lima. We provide them with accommodation and the moral support that they need to face this difficult time in their lives.

Ponle Corazón (“Do it from your heart”), is part of the Peruvian Cancer Foundation (Fundación Peruana de Cáncer), a volunteer association created 24 years ago in order to make a high-school student’s noble idea about helping other students come true. The original idea aimed at helping low-income school students in Peru who had cancer. Later, the Ponle Corazón fundraising campaign was initiated.
